Our Editorial Mission
We aim to publish useful travel information that helps readers research destinations, compare options, and plan their journeys. A guide should leave you better able to make a decision, whether that is how many nights a city needs or which questions to ask before buying a travel product.
Research and Accuracy
Articles should rely on reliable sources, such as official tourism, transport, and government websites, and the published information of service providers. Important facts should be checked before publication.
A guide should make clear what is verified, what is an estimate, and what is an opinion. Typical journey times, seasonal patterns, and suggested trip lengths are planning ranges, not guarantees.
Travel details that change often, such as transport rules, entry requirements, prices, opening hours, and connectivity plans, should be checked against appropriate sources before publication. Readers should still confirm them with the official source or provider before booking, because they can change after a guide is published.
Content Creation and AI Assistance
Digital tools, including AI tools, may assist with research, outlining, editing, and content development.
All published information must be reviewed for usefulness, accuracy, originality, and compliance with these editorial standards before it appears on the website.
We do not fabricate:
- personal travel experiences or claims of having visited a place;
- interviews or quotes;
- product testing or hands-on reviews;
- author names, biographies, or credentials.
When a page is a draft or an outline rather than a finished guide, it is labeled that way.
Updates and Corrections
If you find an error, an outdated detail, or a broken link, please report it through the Contact page and choose “Editorial Feedback and Corrections”. Include the page address and the detail that needs checking.
Reports of material errors are reviewed and corrected when appropriate. An updated date on a guide should reflect a genuine, substantive update. Dates are not changed automatically or to make a page look newer than it is.
Reviews and Recommendations
Comparisons should use criteria that matter for the decision, such as coverage, trip length, location, or flexibility. They should clearly explain their limitations and avoid claims that the available evidence does not support.
Products and services mentioned on this website are not independently tested unless a specific guide says that testing took place and describes how. We do not publish invented ratings, review scores, or prices.
Affiliate Relationships
The website does not currently use affiliate links or publish paid content. If affiliate links or sponsored content are introduced in the future, they will be disclosed clearly and labeled on the pages where they appear.
A commercial relationship never justifies a false claim or a misleading recommendation. A guide is written to be useful whether or not it contains a partner link. See the Affiliate Disclosure for more.
Reader Feedback
Constructive feedback makes the guides better. If something was unclear, missing, or wrong, we would like to hear about it through the Contact page.
